Technical buyer
Job description
You are part of a dynamic purchase team and responsible for the purchase of fasteners and connectors within the automotive industry.
You will evaluate the customer needs and search for new opportunities within the supplier market. You will use your technical knowledge and interests to find customer focused solutions.
Negotiating long term agreements, supplier (customer) contacts and kick off market research will be some of your daily challenges.
Requirements
- University degree or graduate long type or equal by experience (engineering, commerce, ...)
- Purchase experience, preferably in automotive sector
- Analytical capacity, negotiation skills & technical interest
- Team player & ability to work independently
- Used to working with deadlines
- Flexible & persistent
- Fluent knowledge of English. Good knowledge of German and French.
