Job description

As part of an international team you are responsible for all quality related issues at your plant and you will be the face to the customer Ford. In this perspective you will build up a strong relation with the customer in which service and flexibility is primordial. You will communicate and negotiate on a regular base with the different suppliers for root cause verification and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Management of non-conforming parts and organization of sorting actions, quality inspections and internal process audits is a daily challenge. Here for you will have the support from a Quality Inspector. Going further you will be responsible for the approval and implementation of new/modified parts (PPAP process - change management).

You will have an intensive communication with your colleagues from the other Facil Plants in order to share investigations and actions on the different quality issues.

Being part of the local team lead by the local Operations Manager, you will functionally report to the Management in the Headquarter (Belgium).

• Bachelor or master degree or equal by experience (quality, techniques, commercial, ...)
• Quality experience, preferably in automotive sector
• Analytical thinking, customer focused & technical interest
• Very good social and communication skills
• Team player & ability to work independently
• Used to working with deadlines & flexible mindset
• Pro-active, persistent and persuasive
• Fluent knowledge of English.
• You are prepared to sporadically travel a few days within Europe
