Account Specialist

Position Summary:

The Account Specialist is responsible for providing excellent customer communication and development as well as preparing and executing offers to customers.  Additionally, the Account Specialist is the first point of contact for the customer and works toward the development of new customers.  This position reports directly to the Product Sales Manager Europe and works closely together with our other departments. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service for existing customers including but not limited to logistics and quality topics.

• Analyze Request for Quotation (RFQ) from the customers
• Start-up RFQ with Facil supply base (with support from purchasing)
• Prepare and present the offer to the customers
• Revise purchase orders from customers according to the offer
• Create and manage the purchase order agreements
• First point of contact to the customer and liaison with the internal departments and supply base
• Update and maintain customer records

Qualifications:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree (engineering, economics, sales, business, etc.) or equal by experience
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities; ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex information and apply it to practical situations.
• Interest in Automotive and technical interest is required, mechanical or material knowledge is a plus
• Negotiation skills are key
• Proactive orientation and customer-oriented mindset
