Facil North America, Inc., is seeking an experienced Account Specialist for our North American Headquarters in Twinsburg, Ohio.

Position Summary:

The Account Specialist is responsible for providing excellent customer communication and development as well as preparing and executing offers to customers. Additionally, the Account Specialist is the first point of contact to the customer and works toward the development of new customers. This position reports directly to the Product Sales Manager, North America and works closely with FSP Operations as well as our Purchasing division.  Compensation includes a competitive benefits package [including paid time off, health insurance, 401(k), etc.] along with the opportunity for continuous professional growth and development. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze Request for Quotation (RFQ) from the customer
  • Start-up RFQ with Facil supply base (with support from purchasing)
  • Prepare and present the offer to the customer
  • Revise purchase orders from customers according to the offer
  • Create and manage the purchase order agreements
  • First point of contact to the customer and liaison with the internal departments and supply base
  • Analyze the customer base to gain more business (part-service)
  • Implementation and follow-up of new customers and projects
  • Update and maintain customer records

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Management, or related field or equivalent experience required.
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in a sales role required, preferably in the automotive sector. Mechanical or material knowledge is preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of relevant quality standards required; experience with ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001, and/or others a plus.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; proven track record of building and maintaining relationships while balancing short-term needs and long-term objectives.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities; ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex information and apply to practical situations.
  • Proven history of personal initiative, efficiency, attention to detail, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and performing quality work within deadlines with or without supervision.
  • PC proficiency required, including MS Office. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) package is a required. Knowledge of other industry-specific or custom software is a plus.
