Facil North America, Inc., is seeking an experienced Business Development Coordinator for our North American Headquarters in Twinsburg, Ohio

Position Summary:

The Business Development Coordinator is responsible for going after new business opportunities on a regional or global level while providing effective communication and proposals to potential customers.  Additionally, the Business Development Coordinator works toward maintaining current customers through relationship building.  This position reports directly to the Business Development and Product Sales Manager, North America and works closely with the operations and purchasing divisions.  Compensation includes a competitive benefits package [including paid time off, health insurance, 401(k), etc.] along with the opportunity for continuous professional growth and development. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and lead the acquisition and implementation of new customers and projects
  • Actively identify new leads and opportunities
  • Support and coordinate the relationship with current customers
  • Central point of contact for customers during the study and acquisition phase of the project
  • Manage and coordinate all technical, commercial, quality, and logistic aspects with the respective department managers
  • Escalate to corporate teams when required (global project vs. regional project)
  • Define, implement, and realize the operational plan and measure and report the status
  • Translate processes/procedures to local market requirements and cultural specificities
  • Escalate market and organizational needs and opportunities to corporate level and work on continuous improvement projects to adapt to the changing and challenging environment
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or minimum bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Management, or related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales roles required, preferably in the automotive sector. Experience with leading cross functional teams is a plus. Knowledge of fasteners is a plus.
  • Must be willing to travel 50%-60% of the time in North America.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills as well as experience working successfully in cross-functional teams; able to create and deliver effective presentations via multiple mediums to individuals as well as varied groups of people.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; proven track record of building and maintaining relationships while balancing short-term needs and long-term objectives.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities; ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex information and apply to practical situations.
  • Proven history of personal initiative, efficiency, attention to detail, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and performing quality work within deadlines with or without supervision.
  • PC proficiency required, including MS Office. Knowledge of an ERP package and CRM system (e.g., SalesForce) as well as any other industry-specific software is a plus.
