Facil North America, Inc., is seeking a Foreign Trade & Traffic Manager in Toluca, Estado de México.

Essential Duties and Responsbilities

  • Lead and manage all foreign trade and traffic operations for Facil Mexico.
  • Lead the Foreign Trade & Traffic team.
  • Ensure compliance with Mexican Foreign Trade Laws and maximize benefits from trade agreements and special programs (IMMEX, IVA Certification, Annex 24 & 30, sector registrations).
  • Manage and submit accurate USMCA (T-MEC) documentation.
  • Coordinate air shipments and inbound/outbound border crossings.
  • Act as primary contact for audits and requirements from Mexican tax authorities.
  • Negotiate rates with customs brokers and carriers to optimize logistics and freight costs.
  • Prepare regulatory, tax, and management reports aligned with Finance.
  • Conduct market analysis to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in International Trade & Logistics, Business Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of management experience, preferably in the automotive, transportation, customs, or logistics industry.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation, logistics, and foreign trade processes.
  • Solid understanding of Mexican Import/Export regulations.
  • Knowledge of fasteners is a plus.
  • English proficiency.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills; experience with ERP systems required.
  • Mandatory experience with Annex 24 & Annex 30 software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
  • Leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
