Facil North America, Inc., is looking for an HR Coordinator for our Branch and HQ in Toluca.

Position Summary

As HR Coordinator you are responsible for the HR administration as well as compliance with labor law for multiple HR functions, including hiring and onboarding, payroll and time-and-attendance, and benefits.  Additionally, the Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day HR operations and support. 

This position reports directly to the HR Manager Mexico and works closely with Finance, the branch operations and the global HR team. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the recruitment process to ensure sourcing of the best candidates; this includes scheduling interviews, setting up assessments, and communicating feedback to candidates.
  • Coordinate the payroll process and update the payroll system as appropriate; oversee and ensure compliance within the time & attendance system.
  • Provide reporting both within the department and as needed to support other business units; perform document management and maintenance (e.g., personnel files, etc.).
  • Actively support onboarding of new employees to Facil benefits; assist employees with benefits questions and work closely with brokers/benefits providers as needed.
  • Assist in employee onboarding; act as a liaison for existing employees.
  • Support the HR manager on various projects and initiatives, including safety and compliance.
  • Attend and actively participate in internal meetings as required
  • Actively support and serve as a role model for company values.
  • Meet continuing education requirements to maintain all applicable licenses.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field required; Master’s degree desired, but not required.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role is required, preferably in a generalist role; hiring, payroll, and benefits experience is preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; proven track record of building and maintaining relationships while maintaining appropriate levels of confidentiality.
  • Good knowledge of English. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills; able to create and deliver presentations via multiple mediums to individuals as well as varied groups of people.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities; ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex information and apply it to practical situations.
  • Proven history of personal initiative, efficiency, attention to detail, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and performing quality work within deadlines with or without supervision.
  • PC proficiency required, including MS Office. Knowledge of other industry-specific or custom software is a plus.
