Facil India is looking for a Key Account Manager located in Bangalore (India).

Position Summary:

As a Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in launching and managing key projects for a major client. Working at the intersection of strategy and execution, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle – from initial request for quotation (RFQ) to successful implementation. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional internal teams to develop tailored solutions and ensure timely delivery.

A key aspect of this position involves driving new customer projects forward, managing timelines, and ensuring seamless communication between internal departments and the client. You will coordinate resources, track progress, and report on project milestones, making sure every initiative aligns with the broader sales strategy and client expectations.

With your strategic mindset and ability to see the bigger picture, you’ll proactively identify growth opportunities and address potential risks. You will build strong, long-term relationships with the client, ensuring that both their immediate needs and long-term goals are met.

As part of a global team, you will contribute to implementing Facil’s values and best practices, while driving operational excellence and service delivery at every stage of the project.

Revision and negotiation of customer contracts together with the Facil team is one of the most challenging parts of your job. You will be responsible for implementing the Facil strategy to secure a healthy margin.

You will report directly to the Managing Director Business Development & Product Sales.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent by experience is required.
  • 10-15 years of experience in a similar role in sales in the automotive industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management
  • Strong negotiations skills
  • Technical interest is required, and mechanical or material knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: proven track record of building and maintaining relationships internally and with customers, while maintaining appropriate levels of confidentiality.
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Knowledge of ERP software, preferably SAP or SalesForce, is a plus.
  • Willing to travel to Saudi Arabia on a regular base
