Facil North America, Inc., is seeking a Key Account Manager in Phoenix, Arizona.

Position Summary:

The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing the customer relationship and for being the primary commercial liaison between Facil and the customer.  Additionally, the Key Account Manager will focus on delivering excellent customer service, project management, and account management.  This position reports directly to the Business Development & Product Sales Manager, North America and works closely with the operations and purchasing divisions.  Compensation includes a competitive benefits package [including paid time off, health insurance, 401(k), etc.] along with the opportunity for continuous professional growth and development. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze request for quotations (RFQ) from the customer.
  • Start-up RFQ with Facil supply base (with support from purchasing).
  • Prepare and present the offer to the customer.
  • Revise customer purchase orders and implement in Facil ERP system.
  • Create and manager the purchase order agreements.
  • Act as first point of contact to the customer and liaison with other Facil departments and supply base.
  • Analyze the customer base in order to gain more business (part – service).
  • Implementation & follow-up of new customers and projects.
  • Detect opportunities to increase turnover with OEM customer in services and/or parts.
  • Manage the implementation and follow up of new projects.
  • Revise and negotiate customer contracts with support from dedicated departments.
  • Manage the responsibility of communication and distribution of contracts within the global organization.
  • Support the implementation of the operational plan and support the measuring and reporting of the status.
  • Escalate market and organizational needs and opportunities to you direct manager and work on continuous improvement projects to adapt to the changing and challenging environment.
  • Increase the business aligned with the parameter established every year.
  • Monitor and safeguard margin.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Masters or minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent by experience required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales and account management (preferably in the automotive industry) with proven success.
  • Technical interest is required, mechanical or material knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; proven track record of building and maintaining relationships while maintaining appropriate levels of confidentiality.
  • Proven history of personal initiative, efficiency, attention to detail, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and performing quality work within deadlines with or without supervision.
  • Good knowledge of English; fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • PC proficiency required, including MS Office (especially Excel). Knowledge of ERP software, preferably SAP, and/or other industry-specific or custom software a plus.
