Key Account Manager


Facil North America, Inc., is seeking a Key Account Manager for our North American Headquarters in Twinsburg, Ohio.

Position Summary:

As a Key Account Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team, providing excellent service to an existing major customer. You will analyse the request for quotation from the customer and be in close contact with the supply base to prepare and present the offers to the customer. In addition, you will also act as the liaison between this supply base and the internal departments, and you will ensure maximum service to the customer.

A close cooperation with the purchasing department is key to success. Supporting the creation and management of purchase orders is crucial to get the right information in our system and to our supply base.

Revision and negotiation of customer contracts together with the Facil team is one of the most challenging parts of your job. The communication of these new contracts within the complete organization is one of your main responsibilities. Analysing the customer base in order to gain more business is important as well.

Implementation and follow up of new customer projects are another interesting part of this job. You execute the operational plan as part of the global sales strategy and report the status on a regular basis. While doing so you apply and safeguard the Facil values as part of a great international Facil team.

You will report directly to the Sales Manager, North America.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent by experience required.
  • 5 years of experience in sales (preferably in the automotive industry) with proven success.
  • Technical interest is required, mechanical or material knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; proven track record of building and maintaining relationships while maintaining appropriate levels of confidentiality.
  • Proven history of personal initiative, efficiency, attention to detail, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and performing quality work within deadlines with or without supervision.
  • Good knowledge of English; fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • PC proficiency required, including MS Office (especially Excel). Knowledge of ERP software, preferably SAP, and/or other industry-specific or custom software a plus.
