POP Supervisor Saltillo

Position Summary:

The POP Supervisor will identify and communicate opportunities in daily work to improve customer satisfaction, improve efficiency, reduce cost, increase business, improve quality, and increase sustainability. The POP Supervisor will coordinate with their location’s teams by improving efficiency and maintaining levels of product in order to provide our customer the highest level of service. The POP Supervisor will report to the POP Manager and will communicate with other departments as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison to the customer and FACIL and report any changes in production rates, manufacturing techniques, models, shop addresses, active parts, etc.
• Direct and coordinate daily workflow responsibilities to the POP Coordinators/Leads and Operators.
• Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed by POP employees.
• Address customer issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor and record in-plant inventory turns for all POP supplies locations.
• Ensure use point files are maintained daily.
• Manage the replenishment of parts at the point of production (min/max levels).
• Ensure the proper placement of parts.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Ensure prompt resolution of quality issues by communicating to the quality department.
• Support the implementation of the operational plan and support the measuring and reporting of the status.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Degree or equal by experience required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2 to 3 years of experience in a warehouse/production environment. Forklift experience is a plus
• Knowledge of relevant quality standards required; experience with ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001, and/or others a plus.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; English fluency preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills; proven track record of building and maintaining relationships while balancing short-term needs and long-term objectives.
• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities; ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex information and apply to practical situations.
• Proven history of personal initiative, efficiency, attention to detail, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and performing quality work within deadlines with or without supervision.
• PC proficiency required, including MS Office. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) package is a required. Knowledge of other industry-specific or custom software is a plus.
