Project Buyer


Facil China is looking for a Project buyer to support the Purchase team in Changshu, China.

Job description

Your main responsibility will be to purchase fasteners and connectors within the automotive industry. You will become part of an international team and work closely together with our suppliers in Asia.

In order to offer our customers the best solution, you will constantly search for and negotiate the best deals with our suppliers. You evaluate the customer’s needs, look for new opportunities in the market and you always make sure to find the best suitable customer focused solution. You will act as a first filter for the new suppliers. A close follow-up on their price requests and the requirements of the customers is needed. You must ensure a good internal and external coordination. You keep our price and order database up to date and hold close contacts with our other departments.

We focus on building effective and sustainable long-term relationships with both our suppliers and our customers and trust on you to help us with this objective.

You will report directly to the Purchasing Manager.


  • Bachelor/Master degree or equal by experience
  • 3-5 years working experience, preferably in the automotive/ metallic sector
  • An analytical mindset and profound negotiation and coordination skills
  • Technical knowledge is a plus whereas technical interest is a must
  • International orientation
  • You are able to follow up on a project from A-Z
  • Flexibility, persistency and entrepreneurship are key
  • Very good knowledge of English is required
