SQA Manager

Job description

Close teamwork with suppliers for the development of the product quality and continuous improvement projects is one of your main tasks. You will set up and implement a plan to review product audit data at the suppliers for all fasteners.

As part of an international team, you will support the Facil quality engineers to develop and improve supplier quality assurance and the different quality coordinators with the investigation, follow up of major quality concerns and provide on-site support where needed.

You will work closely together with the purchasing department as you will inform all suppliers about the customer and Facil requirements. You are responsible to monitor supplier quality performance and define the supplier status. As a team you work out new programs and resourcing plans to review supplier sourcing.

You will report directly to the Quality & Operations Engineering Manager Europe.

Requirements

• Master or minimum bachelor’s degree or equal by experience
• At least 3 years of experience in the quality and audit environment in the automotive sector
• Fastener product and production processes knowledge is required
• Knowledge of relevant quality standards is needed
• Meticulous and methodological
• Analytical capacity and a critical mindset
• Persistent and persuasive
• Customer focused & good communication skills
• Team player & ability to work independently
• Flexible in working time and willing to travel on a frequent basis in Europe and worldwide if requested
• Fluent knowledge of English is required. Other languages are a plus.
