Sustainability & System Coordinator

Facil Corporate is looking for a Sustainability & System Coordinator to support the Strategy Office at the headquarters in Genk.

Position Summary

Facil has challenging times ahead regarding the Internal Management System and Sustainability Strategy Development. Related to our Internal Management System, it is considered as a strength by all our customers. So it’s crucial to keep this alive, to make sure it is applied in our global operations and to keep it aligned with our internal processes (and changes) and customer requirements.

In terms of sustainability, we want to speed up the analysis and implementation of internal projects. We want to make sustainability part of our governance and walk the talk.

This new function will report to the Sustainability & System Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Quality and Environmental Management System
    • Document update and control. Make sure that all changes (process – organisation – responsibilities – tools - …) are integrated in the Management System.
    • Control of International/Customer Norms/Standards (including Customer Specific Requirements and drawings).
    • Plan and coordinate the global execution of the system and process audits with the internal auditors and the global departments/teams.
    • Perform internal audits as part of the internal auditor team.
    • Plan and coordinate the global execution of the external certification audits (IATF 16949 – ISO9001 – ISO14001) with the certification companies and with the global departments/teams.
    • Integration of the ISO 27001 and TISAX requirements (Information Security) into the Management System.
    • Follow-up, support and report, in close collaboration with the owners, the definition and implementation of the corrective actions generated from internal and external audits.

  • Sustainability strategy and roadmap implementation
    • Collect, monitor and analyse the global Facil CO2 footprint data
    • Analyse and implement the strategic sustainability projects (CO2 dashboard – Supplier monitoring – CO2 reduction).
    • Respond to the supplier specific questions and define the necessary actions to fulfil the requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equal by experience.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical role, preferably in the automotive sector.
  • Basic knowledge of relevant quality standards (ISO 9001 - ISO 14001 – IATF16949).
  • Basic knowledge of the Automotive Core Tools
  • Basic knowledge of the ISO 27001 and TISAX requirements is a plus.
  • Active experience with performing internal and external audits.
  • Willingness and engagement to make sustainability a part of the culture of Facil.
  • High mental flexibility and able to work independently.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to make short global business trips.
