Warehouse Supervisor Tulsa

Position Summary

Our Warehouse Supervisor will support branch goals and ensure that the warehouse processes run smoothly.  The Warehouse Supervisor will also assist in warehouse team training, coaching, and personnel changes.  This position reports directly to the Branch Manager and works closely with the FSP and Operations departments.  Compensation includes a competitive benefits package [including paid time off, health insurance, 401(k), etc.] along with the opportunity for continuous professional growth and development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse.
• Manage, motivate, and train the warehouse staff.
• Evaluate the performance of the warehouse staff and plan personnel needs accordingly.
• Manage, organize, and optimize warehouse processes (shipping, receiving, and storing of material).
• Responsible for the correct registration of inventory movements and for continuous improvement.
• Manage and maintain 5S.
• Manage the care and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
• Oversee any inventory discrepancies.
• Support the implementation of the operational plan and support the measuring and reporting of the status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equal by experience 
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment and in operations within a mechanical industry is desired, preferably in the automotive sector. Knowledge of relevant quality standards and of the automotive processes is a plus.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills as well as experience working successfully in cross-functional teams; able to create and deliver effective presentations via multiple mediums to individuals as well as varied groups of people.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills; proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external customers is a must.
• PC proficiency required, including MS Office. Knowledge of an ERP package and CRM system (e.g., SalesForce) as well as any other industry-specific software is a plus.
