Facil, the Belgian Full Service Provider of fasteners and other C-parts to the automotive, truck and related industries, has been given the ultimate recognition of its performance by one of its most important customers. The award was won in the cost excellence category.
Volvo Group is recognizing the 11 winning companies receiving the Volvo Group Purchasing Supplier Award for their commitment to performance excellence, their support and commitment for continuous improvements.
The awards were presented to the high performing suppliers during a ceremony in Gothenburg, Sweden on February 23, 2016.
“This evening we are recognizing our suppliers’ efforts to realize Volvo Group’s promises to our customers”, says Martin Lundstedt, CEO Volvo Group.
Purchasing is together with our suppliers managing 70% of the product content both in the project phase and in the daily operation – which proves the importance and magnitude of the Volvo Group’s supplier base.
The event marks how we together with them secure that we are in the forefront of innovation and future R&D for all our product ranges, taking cost and profitability in all aspects.
Suppliers that go more than the extra mile to deliver with excellence in projects and making sure all parts are delivered on time to our plants around the world.
“This recognition is for all our suppliers that are not satisfied until our customers are” continues Patrik Lundblad, Head of Volvo Group Purchasing.
