Demand Analyst

Facil is excited to grow our actual business in North America with a major new customer. Therefore we are looking for a Demand Analyst to support our Supply Chain Services team in Twinsburg, our headquarters in NA.

Job description

As Demand Analyst you will be part of a dynamic supply chain team. Your primary focus will be on managing and maintaining part level demand forecasts based on the Master Production Schedule, historical sales, and change management.

Accuracy and punctuality is in your DNA.  You continuously evaluate the forecasted data versus the delivered data and adjust the forecast in due time.  You challenge the users when major changes occur without upfront notice and adjust the forecast based on the findings.

You secure that no old/redundant forecast remains in the forecasting/ERP system and that the transfer between the Demand forecasting system and the ERP system runs smoothly.

You will be in close contact with the customer, the branch managers and material planners to optimize the MRP demand parameters such as safety stocks, release flags, etc.

You will lead the SIOP (Sales & Inventory Operations Planning) meetings, process the results and report the outcome. You will support inventory initiatives, maintain the KPI for forecasting, and provide comments and actions to improve the performance. Other responsibilities would include writing and maintaining demand management work instructions as well as training and maintaining a backup solution for absenteeism.

Additional tasks will include evaluation of industry demand management software tools and procedures, as well as performing implementations/upgrades if required.

Finally, you will escalate market and organizational needs and opportunities to your direct manager and work on continuous improvement projects to adapt to the changing and challenging environment.

You will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager, who is based in Twinsburg.


  • Master degree or equal by experience
  • At least 5 years’ experience with demand coordination and/or forecasting experience (preferably in the automotive sector)
  • Knowledge of supply chain systems (ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001 and others where applicable)
  • Experience with ERP/MRP package
  • Strong analytical and technical (Excel) skills is a must
