Facil North America, Inc., is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Analyst for our Charlotte, North Carolina, branch office.

Position Summary:

Our Supply Chain Analysts optimize and maintain running supply chain processes, developing new supply chain processes when necessary.  The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for safeguarding and training regional teams in the Facil supply chain processes and procedures while developing and maintaining global supply chain work instructions and manuals.  This position reports directly to the Operations Manager, U.S. and works closely with branch operations, supply chain services, and the purchasing division.  Compensation includes a competitive benefits package [including paid time off, health insurance, 401(k), etc.] along with the opportunity for continuous professional growth and development. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the regional supply chain departments.
  • Support the set-up and implementation of new branches.
  • Support BD in calculations for new customers/projects.
  • Analyze costs in the domains inventory, transport, and operational processes while optimizing processes and reducing costs.
  • Move, schedule, and monitor inbound and outbound domestic and international shipments for on-time delivery.
  • Expedite and track material.
  • Review freight paperwork and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Provide NAFTA/USMCA documentation when required by the customer.
  • Negotiate terms and rates with carriers, to reduce freight costs.
  • Benchmark terms and rates with carriers, to reduce freight costs.
  • Ensure products are correctly coded and classified.
  • Review freight bills/invoices and check for accuracy, reconciling payments when necessary.
  • Work with carriers and brokers to reduce costs and streamline logistics processes.
  • Act as a liaison to suppliers, customers, and brokers.
  • Debit suppliers when logistics procedures aren’t followed.
  • Track data and confirmation material tied to the entry of premium freight costs to assist with recovery of charges.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or minimum bachelor’s degree or equal experience required.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in supply chain coordination function is required, preferably in the automotive sector or dynamic environment.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities; ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex information and apply it to practical situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; proven track record of building and maintaining relationships while maintaining appropriate levels of confidentiality.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven history of personal initiative, efficiency, attention to detail, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and performing quality work within deadlines with or without supervision.
  • PC proficiency required, including MS Office. Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) package is required. Knowledge of other industry-specific or custom software is a plus.
