Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As a branch manager we expect you to represent the company in the local market and maintain operational contact with the client Perodua offering them an outstanding service and ensuring the continuous material flow from supplier to the client. After setting up the branch in Malaysia you will take care of the day-to-day operational management of the branch, solving problems and realizing both goals and objectives. On top you will work out new structures and processes to optimize the current supply chain.

Also, the quality and technical related issues will fall under your responsibility. Management of non-conforming parts and organizing quality inspections and internal process audits are a daily challenge. You will also support the implementation of new/modified parts. For this you will work closely together with your colleagues from other Facil branches.

This challenging opportunity can only be realized with a hands-on flexible approach, a customer service mindset and good people management skills.

You will report directly to the General Manager Asia and will receive the necessary support from the other departments from our HQ in Europe and branch managers within Asia (China, Thailand, India).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equal by experience
• 10 years’ experience in a similar function
• Experience in warehouse management & supply chain management are required preferably in the automotive sector
• Very good knowledge of local legal requirement
• Capacity to grow the business in the future
• Team player with good leadership skills
• Stress resistant and proactive
• Hands on, result driven and persistent
• Service minded, customer focused and flexible
• Advanced knowledge of English and Bahasa Melayu are required
• Good communication and motivation skills
