HR Coordinator


Facil Europe is seeking an experienced Human Resources Coordinator for our Headquarter in Genk.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for coordinating the payroll processes in Europe and work closely with the Branch Managers in the various branches:
    • You are responsible for the payroll processing of blue- and white-collar workers together with the payroll service provider.
    • You are the first point of contact regarding HR-related topics. You actively seek solutions and answers for questions relating to personnel administration (absences, holiday rights, insurance, benefits, fleet, etc.), considering local legislation.
    • You will be the point of contact for trade union-related topics.
  • Manage and support the recruitment process to ensure sourcing of the best candidates.
  • Assist in employee onboarding
  • Reporting on sickness, overtime, headcount, ...
  • Support the implementation and usage of the HR processes, policies and systems.
  • You initiate, supervise, and implement various HR projects.
  • You regularly coordinate with the business on the overall operation and its challenges.
  • You report to the HR Manager Europe.


  • Master’s degree or equal by experience.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a Human Resources role is required, preferably in a generalist role; with experience in recruitment and payroll.
  • You value ownership and are driven by achieving results.
  • You have strong analytical skills. Thanks to your drive and critical approach, you are not satisfied with the first result, but you pick things up and detect risks and opportunities.
  • Your result-oriented approach enables you to deal flexibly with changing priorities and variable tasks without sacrificing accuracy.
  • You work smoothly in a team and have strong communication skills. You are service-oriented and have a keen eye for innovation and optimization. 
  • You are highly stress-resistant and know how to keep calm, even with deadlines and under high work pressure.
  • You have a very good knowledge of Dutch and English, knowledge of French, Spanish and/or German is an advantage.
