Project Buyer

Your main responsibility will be to purchase fasteners and connectors within the automotive industry. You will become part of an international team. 

In order to offer our customers the best solution, you will constantly search for and negotiate the best deals with our suppliers. You evaluate the customer’s needs, look for new opportunities in the market and you always make sure to find the best suitable customer focused solution. A close follow-up on their price requests and projects is needed to ensure a good internal and external coordination. You keep our price and order database up to date and hold close contacts with our other departments.

We focus on building effective and sustainable long term relationships with our suppliers and trust on you to help us with this objective.

You will report directly to our Purchase Manager Europe in the headquarters in Genk.
Our international Purchasing team is looking forward to welcoming you!

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master degree or equal by experience
• 3-5 years working experience, preferably in the automotive sector
• An analytical mindset and profound negotiation and coordination skills
• Technical knowledge is a plus whereas technical interest is a must
• Flexibility, persistency and entrepreneurship are key
• Very good knowledge of English is required
